iDiscrete operates on a simple principle:

"To securely store your private content (videos, images, et al.) on the iPhone, and do so in a 100% discreet way."

For less than the price of a cup of coffee, iDiscrete is the most fully featured privacy application available for the iPhone. Rather than requiring a suspicious looking password, iDiscrete employs its patent-pending Touch Sequence Protection™. This works by bringing up a nondescript "Loading" screen upon entry to the application, which registers touch input in 8 different locations. The user has predefined their desired Touch Sequence, which can be as simple or as complicated as they wish. The Loading screen will only grant access to iDiscrete if the correct Touch Sequence is entered. Otherwise, when the Touch Sequence Timeout expires without receiving the correct sequence, the app will boot to a generic-looking text entry interface.

This unique feature, combined with an application icon and name that do not give away its functionality, mean that an unauthorized user would never suspect the true nature of the app.

This is iDiscrete JB, which differs from the "official" version available in the App Store. This is the TRUE app, as we originally envisioned it, without Apple's draconian/arbitrary restrictions. As iDiscrete matures, we will maintain both this version and the version in the App Store. Get this version to truly get the most out of iDiscrete!

iDiscrete JB allows you to:
Change the app icon and name that shows on the Springboard
"Hide" the app as a standard Apple app that you don't use (ie. Stocks, Contacts, etc) THIS IS OUR PERSONAL FAVORITE!
Allow the app to "crash" back to the Springboard on incorrect Touch Sequence, rather than load the text-editor interface.

Other apps simply password protect your content, but to prying eyes this can still look very suspicious. Thus, iDiscrete not only hides the sensitive content and effectively password protects it, but it conceals the very fact that an app with this functionality exists. It avoids a situation where an unauthorized user may inadvertently click on the app, see a password, and ask you "Hey, what's this??" IT NEVER LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE WITH iDISCRETE!
